Frustrated House Hunter.
So I was looking the other day for a house in my area, and found out that it's not as easy as I thought to buy a house. First of all, it looks like there's a lot of overpriced properties. That said, there's also plenty of very reasonably-priced places, if you know where to look.
Also, of course, in order to sell my house I have to put together loads and loads of paperwork for the prospective buyers.
I'm still considering the move. I'd like to do it, especially if I can downsize a little. I guess we'll have to see.

I didn't realise just how much there was to consider when buying a house. Plus there's this new "home buyer's package" thing you need to have ready for whoever is going to buy your house.
Sounds expensive! Not to mention all the other stuff, like solicitor's fees, stamp duty, etc. It's one of those things you really need to be prepared for, mentally and financially. On top of all that, there's the stress of moving all your possessions (and then unpacking them again!).
That said, I'm still looking forward to the move. It's going to be great to have some more space and a nicer neighbourhood! I'll keep posting about my experiences here.
